Mom sure has been BUSY……

Aug 30: Every time I lifted my head from my bed over the last couple of days Mom has been heading to her studio to work on some projects for Susan over at Scrapy Land.  Mom says there are some exciting things coming to Scrapy Land over the next week or so and she wants you all to keep an eye on their Blog.

Anyway, Mom does have a card that she would like to share with you all. This is one of the projects she submitted when applying for a Design Team position. Hope you like it.

Some of the products Mom used are:
Scallop Circle – punch – approx. 1.5” (Mom says you can also use a Nesting scallop die)
Scrapy Land Exclusive Cornered Circle
Scrapy Crafts Tickled Pink font
EK Success Edge Scallop Punch
IRock Tool and Bling

If you’d like to see a video on how to make the folded flower, check out the one Susan has done over on the Stampy Land blog.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out Mom’s card. Stop by again soon to see what she is up to next!

Take care

So excited to say …

Aug 1:

That Mom has been named one of three new members of the Scrapy Land Design Team!!!!!! The house was sure full of excited squeals when the email came this morning!  Mom tells Pat the she is so looking forward to working with Susan, Michelle and Gail over the next several months!

Mom tells me she will be sharing the projects she submitted after Susan has published them the the Scrapy Land blog.

This morning I spent some time in Mom’s scrap room as she needed a small birthday card. Mom made this little 3x3 card. Mom loves these little cards.  Hope you like it.

Happy Birthday Card

Mom has been a bit distracted over the last couple of days, but this morning she went up to her studio and completed a simple easel card.

The pattern paper is from Chatterbox, which was from her stash. I am really proud of her for using paper from her stash as opposed to running to the store to buy more. Although, that would have meant a ride in the car for me – what was I thinking!

The butterflies were the punch outs from the Martha Stewart border punch from another project. The Nestabilities is Label Eleven

HB_Tilda_2Here is a picture of the card open. The HB stamp is from Print Works.

HB_Tilda_1  Thanks for stopping by to see what Mom and I were up to.
